TTP Review
Rocky Express is primarily aimed at families and children, located in the Canadian Rockies area of the Park. Riders board one of many differently coloured trains that are all connected via arms to the middle of the ride. The middle motor starts to rotate, and gradually get faster and faster, taking the trains with it. Riders are pushed against the left hand side of the trains due to the forces acting on the body - so make sure younger guests are seated on the inside (right hand side) of the carriages to avoid getting squashed!
Rocky Express is a worthwhile ride. It makes good use of a small space, and appeals to a lot of people. It's actually rougher and more intense than it looks too, which is a bonus. It serves as an ideal stepping stone up to some of Thorpe's bigger flat rides. However, a ride on Rocky Express often lasts a pretty long time (over 2 minutes), causing riders to question when the ride will actually stop!
For kids and their parents, Rocky Express is an entertaining attraction. If you're a big thrill seeker, seek elsewhere.

"I think Rocky Express is a fast, fun ride for children but people in the inside seats are easily squashed by the people on the outside." Zoe, London, UK.
